How Credit Repair Works
We Fix Your Credit in 5 Easy Steps
Credit Score Restore explains how credit repair works in their 5 step system. From the beginning, we will guide you through each step making sure you are ready to move on to the next part of the process. We always available for support and questions you might have.
The first step in our program is our free credit report consultation.
What to Expect
During the consultation, one of our credit repair professional will pull your credit report. The report will contain records from the three national credit-reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. The way we access your credit reports do not affect your credit score.
Negative Item Identification
We identify the items you wish to challenge on your credit reports as well as determine the proper path in order to reach your ultimate goal. As a result, we can then determine what credit repair services are necessary based on the credit goals you want to achieve.Depending on your credit profile, we can recommend :
- Credit Repair
- Debt Settlement
- Debt Consolidation
- Credit Building
- Student Loan Consolidation
- Mortgage Pre-qualification Guidelines
- Auto Purchase & Refinance
We only charge for credit repair services after the incorrect or erroneous items have been corrected or deleted off your report.
Depending on your individual case, payments are made by milestones.
After speaking with one of our credit repair professionals, the second step in the Credit Score Restore credit repair program is the initial audit.
Credit Audit Process
Our clients receive a registration for the program and 24/7 online account access to our SSL secured proprietary member’s only portal.
An audit includes the following set up and services:
- Credit restoration process monitoring
- Credit audit & completion of your 1rst round of disputes
As disputes are submitted to either one or all of the three national credit agencies, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, a response will normally be generated displaying the results of the investigation.
Upon receipt of the results, a copy will need to be forwarded to us by e-mail, fax, snail mail or in person.
We work quickly to analyze and dispute results. If the inaccurate items are not corrected or deleted, a new strategy will be determined in order to help correct the report. Credit Score Restore identifies the issue at hand, thus bringing the credit bureau’s reporting in compliance.
Filing Disputes and Complaints
We can file disputes and complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, CFPB, and the Better Business Bureau, BBB, to help ensure the disputes are actually handled properly and not specifically inputted and verified by a computer generated inquiry through a system known as e-OSCAR, the Online Solution for Complete and Accurate Reporting, browser-based, Metro 2 compliant which has been developed by Equifax, Experian, Innovis and TransUnion.
Our Credit Repair Program is for a term of six (6) months. Most of our clients see retrieve results as quickly as 30-45 days, however optimum results can be from 90 days to 180 days depending on the client’s individual credit report.
Every credit report is not treated the same, that’s why our credit consultants tailor every restoration program to maximize individual client results.
The third step to restoring or building a healthy consumer credit profile is to open a minimum of three individual revolving active accounts and at least one installment account.
Building Credit Stability
Establishing a credit foundation with a good mixture of accounts will help diversify credit history and in turn help raising the credit score.
Our company can help with the following:
- Authorized User Accounts
- Secured Credit Cards
- Unsecured Credit Cards
- Credit Builder Accounts
- Referral source for Auto Loans
- Retail Credit Cards
*In order to have a credit score populate after the program is complete, you will need to have active credit within the last 2 years from the date of the request of a credit score solicitation (inquiry).
Protection Against Creditors Violating the FDCPA
Some debt collectors are known to practice unfair debt collection methods that can be deemed as harassment or a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
If there are any violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) or the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) on your credit report or by collection agencies, we refer to an attorney that specializes specifically against the unfair and/or abusive practices by debt collectors.
For example, here are some actions a collection agency is not allowed to do:
- Call before an unreasonable time, normally deemed 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
- Use abusive or profane language
- Contact your employer, relatives, friends or neighbors
- Mention damage to your credit score
- Contact you on your cellular phone or at work if they have been advised not refrain from contact
These accounts mainly include any open collection accounts and charge-off accounts that still have a balance.
If any violations are found, you may be entitled up to $1,000. This step can also contribute to 30% of your credit score versus whatever is positive or negative on your file but not limited to your inquiries and or balances.
